The information on this website is for general information purposes only. The information is provided by G. Sheffield & Sons Ltd. and is based on information supplied by manufacturers or suppliers. G. Sheffield & Sons Ltd. constantly strive to keep the information as up to date and as accurate as possible.

 

Cancellation

The customer has the right to cancel any order placed. However a customer cannot cancel an order once it has been dispatched. At that point it is outside of our control. In such instances the customer will take responsibility for the cost of returning the item. When we receive the return we will carry out a refund via the original means of payment.

 

Payment

Paypal is the preferred and safest acceptable form of payment for the items available from this website. We do not accept payments by cheque. All goods remain the property of G. Sheffield & Sons Ltd. until paid for in full. The company reserves the right to refuse any transaction. 

 

Delivery

  • When you place your order online, we are pleased to offer you the option to collect from our shop or have your goods delivered to your home or office.
  • If you have opted to have your purchases delivered we will do so using An Post or a courier service. We will notify you by email when your items are ready for dispatch and in most cases this will be the following working day.
  • If you have opted to collect your purchase from our shop we will notify you by email when your item is ready for collection. 
  • If you have opted to have your goods delivered we will deliver your order using An Post or a Courier service. You will be notified of the service used by email when your goods are ready for dispatch. Your goods will then be dispatched the following day.
  • If in stock, all orders will be dispatched and should reach customers in Ireland in less than 7 days, 10 days for the UK and 10-12 for the rest of the World.
  • Some items on our website will have to be ordered from our suppliers and this may incur a delay. In this instance we will advise you by phone or email of the estimated delivery date. 
  • We are not responsible should an order not reach a customer due to an error in information, e.g. incorrect delivery address. Please ensure that all details are correct when entering them, as they are used exactly as entered by yourself when submitting your order.

 

Faulty Items

G. Sheffield & Sons Ltd. takes no responsibility for any goods that are faulty due to a manufacturing error.  Any faulty items received should be returned to the company for examination. You the customer will incur the cost and responsibility of return of said items until safely delivered to the registered premises of G. Sheffield & Sons Ltd.
